Only once you know yourself – once you honestly know what WHO YOU ARE and WHAT YOU WANT – can you begin to move towards your goals.
It never ceases to amaze me, how often I regret trying to argue to someone else that I have changed. I admittedly forget this all the time, but change is not instant. You don’t just wake up one day and say “Hallelujah, I have changed!!!” CHANGE is a result of habituation and consistency. If you’ve spent months reacting in a certain way, don’t expect one instance of acting differently to change someone else’s opinion of you.
